The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia
asked Saudis who works in the field of media, with their great role and effect
on the society to help in spreading the awareness messages of the ministry's important national
program to combat Aids. To make it reach all the people and spread awareness between
members of the community and reap the many precious lives.
The ministry said that, The first
phase focuses on modify the behavior and the risk associated with the
transmission of AIDS, The campaign
targets to sensitize all members of the community in order to participate to
make Saudi Arabia a country with "Zero AIDS" and said that this is
possible by broadcasting awareness messages to curb the spread of the
disease.
The Saudi ministry of health also
asked Media To help this campaign contributes to sensitize members of the
community in general and also the non-infected individuals to guide the infected with the correct
scientific prevention methods that must be followed to avoid contracting the
virus at the same time and educate people living with HIV how to live and
co-exist with the community better and also to ensure acceptance for them and to motivate them to continue their normal life.
