Dr. Mansour Alhouasi behalf of Health Minister Ahmed al-Khatib, sponsored today the inauguration ceremony of the charity Saudi association to fight cancer within activities of World Cancer Day 2015 under the theme "the healing of cancer is not fa away" and that at the conference hall of King Fahd Cultural Center.
The ceremony began with the Quran, then the Chairman of the Board of Directors the charity Saudi association to fight cancer, Dr. Abdullah Al-Amr welcomed the participants and the audience, pointing out that the celebration of the world by the "World Cancer Day" carries a lot of connotations, and reflects a lot of hopes, he added that the patient's journey with cancer does not mean the case of disease, treatment and cure, but a range of psychological and physical effects, as all communities all over the world celebrate with cancer patient; to make him notice that he is the most important entity and the foundation stone in the structure of his society.
Then the Deputy Minister of Health for Health Affairs Dr. Mansour Alhouasi gave a speech on this occasion in which he expressed his pride and his pleasure by serving cancer patients which collected the Ministry of Health and the Assembly as one family, expressing the importance of these events in the mobilization of forces and the removal of apathy to stimulates to look forward to this global event for cancer.. Hind Akaddal owner of "I am Achavy" initiative announced the launch of the initiative, saying: "This initiative were not just a voluntary action I do, but was a lofty goal", expressing thanks and appreciation for each of who supported and adopted this idea and support her, pointing out that this initiative aims to educate people with the seriousness of the disease and how to deal with strongly positive and optimistic, adding that the initiative is based on three main pillars, namely: (the self-healing, the power of the subconscious mind, positive thinking, as well as raising the happiness hormone).
Also honored artist Fayez al-Maliki and give him (ambassador cancer patients) by the Assembly # Saudi charities to fight cancer-peer efforts made by the support of cancer patients in the Kingdom and through the media presence and influence and support for more than an awareness and educational activity.
This was followed by honoring a number of parties in addition to concert organizers, volunteer team of the clinic and other group of volunteer, followed by the opening of the accompanying the events of the World Cancer Day 2015 exhibition under the theme "the healing of cancer ..isn't so far away" which included tumor sections at King Fahd Medical City, King Faisal Specialist Hospital, and King Khalid University Hospital, and King Saud Medical City, and the Military Medical City of Prince Sultan, and a number of charities, and a recuperative group which operates under the umbrella of the Assembly, with the presence of a number of those who have recovered from cancer to transfer their experiences with the disease to fellow patients and their companions, and their participation added large benefit to recipients and visitors accompanying, and a number of recreational events.
The Assembly thanked all those who contributed to the success of this day of private and government agencies and the two organizers of the ceremony "World Cancer Day 2015", , and all specialized hospitals, commercial centers and educational entities that interact with this World Day, which had a impact on its success.
