115 Corona Deaths in Saudi Arabia and still no vaccine!

The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced this Saturday that the total number of deaths by Corona virus that causes the Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) has risen to 115 out of 396 infected with the virus in the country since September 2012.

And according to the ministry's official website that the last two deceased are25 years old  young man at the age of 25 years from Jeddah and a 69 years old woman suffering from tuberculosis and anemia  from Makah.

The American health announced this Friday the first Corona virus infection in the country.
Dr. Anne Huckat director of the National Center for vaccination at the federal Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)  explained  that the infected person works in health care, and he has recently traveled to Saudi Arabia, which is currently treated in a hospital in Indiana, where he is also being isolated from the others.

Corona is a strain of the SARS virus that causes severe acute respiratory syndrome, which led to the death of 800 people around  the world in 2003. This virus infect the lungs, accompanied by a fever and a cough and breathing difficulties, and also lead to the stoppage of the work of the kidneys.

Unfortunately, currently  there is no vaccine against this virus, but the Saudi Ministry of Health sought the cooperation of the five drugs companies to find a vaccine against this virus.
And according to a study was published in February in the United States, Corona virus may be transmitted through camels.

We hope the cooperation sought by the ministry of health in Saudi Arabia manages to find any lead to cure the virus that threats the country, also because Saudi Arabia's special every-year-situation "Hajj And Umrah" the Muslims' special Islamic rituals that may cause a huge number of infections because of this virus.
