Saudi Ministry of Health denies existence of “Ebola”
among pilgrims again, because of some irresponsible media networks spread
rumors and panic between the pilgrims, even after the Saudi health minister denied
several times any existence of deadly diseases between the pilgrims, and
advised media network to be careful in dealing with the news that might affect
the physical status of the pilgrims during the rituals.
The Saudi Ministry of Health stated that they couldn't find any suspected case if Ebola among the pilgrims. The ministry said it had begun a series of measures in the health monitoring of the pilgrimage season through airports and via other ports, especially the pilgrims who are suspected of having HIV or «Ebola» or coming from
countries where there are some diseases and epidemics.
The Ministry also said that it has increased ICU beds in some hospitals in the Holy City like Elnoor Hospital and Ohod hospital in Almadinah and provide isolation rooms in east Arafat hospital if any cases require isolation, and it will isolate all the patients who are suspected of having any of the
viruses in isolation rooms available in the health centers at airports and
ports.
